PUBLIC CHANNEL // INTAKE STATUS: OPEN

Send a record to the Bureau

The Bureau accepts descriptions of environments and experiences connected to liminality, unusual familiarity, nostalgia without clear memory, perceived temporal nearness, cognitive quieting, spatial pull, and temporal ambiguity.

You do not need to know what caused the experience. Describe what happened before attempting to explain it.

SUBMIT AN EXPERIENCE

Use the form when a physical, digital, remembered, dreamed, or constructed environment produced an unusual subjective response. Include the environment or platform, approximate date, prior familiarity, sequence of events, bodily sensations, changes in attention or internal dialogue, memories, and whether another time felt near.

SUBMIT AN ENVIRONMENT

Recommend a physical location, game environment, website, interface, photograph, recording, or constructed scene for possible archive inclusion. Explain your relationship to it and why it may be relevant.

COLLABORATION

Researchers, students, designers, archivists, photographers, filmmakers, and game developers are welcome to propose serious scholarly or creative collaboration.

PRIVACY AND CONSENT

Do not submit private addresses, illegal-access details, identifiable images of people without permission, medical records, or material you do not have the right to share.

Submission to this public channel is not participation in a formal research study. Any future use as human-participant research data would require separate information, review, and consent procedures.

Receipt confirms delivery—not archive inclusion or endorsement of an interpretation.
